Seeta Bani Temple ( 20 kms ) from Ramnagar - The temple is dedicated to Goddess Sita. It is believed that this is the place where goddess Sita disappeared into the ground. The temple is also famous for the fair held during the 'Ram Navami' festival.
Marchula 40 kms from Ramnagar, this beautiful hill resort is surrounded by dense forests and is set admist hilly mountains. It is situated on the banks of the river Ramganga. The place is also known as the tip of the Corbett National Park.
Ramnagar in Uttarakhand is a part of Kumaon tourism, and the local languages spoken are Kumaoni, Gadhwali and Hindi. The best time to visit Ramnagar would be from September - June. Light woolens in summer and heavy woolens winter are advisable.
