Pindari Glacier is situated at an altitude of 3,353 mts above sea level in Bageshwar district of Uttarakhand. This glacier lies between the Nanda devi and Nandakot mountains. Pindari Glacier lies on the edge of Nanda Devi mountains ( 7,816 ), which is the highest peak of India.
The Pindari Glacier measures about 5km in length, the glacier extends for about 3kms in length and about 400 mts wide. The glacier is the source of Pindar river which meets with Alaknanda River at the confluence of Karnaprayag in the garhwal region.

The Pindari Glacier trail passes through the Nanda Devi Sanctuary. The valley is filled with flora and fauna and the route provides an awesome view of the snow capped himalayan peaks of Nanda devi and Nandakot mountains. Zero Point of Pindari Glacier is situated at an altitude of 3,660mts above sea-level, 5 kms for Phurkia.
The base camp at Song can be reached from Bageshwar (36 kms ) and Almora (110 kms)
