      The Badrinath Temple of the Char dham Yatra in the Garhwal Himalayas of Chamoli district is one of the most important temple of the Panch Badri.

      There are also four small connected Badris. The other four Badris are the Yog Dhyan Badri, Bhavishya Badri, Adi Badri and the Vriddha Badri. The all 5 badris form to be the Panch Badri and can also be considered as a part of the Char dham yatra.

      The main temple of Badrinath is also known as Badri Vishal and is also the starting point of the Panch Kedar Yatra and the ending of the Chardham Yatra. These all temples are dedicated to Lord Badrinath or Lord Vishnu


      Yog Dhyan Badri

      The temple of Yog Dhyan Badri, is located at Pandukeshwar 24 km ahead of Badrinath on Rishikesh - Badrinath highway. Here we can find Lord Vishnu in deep meditation so the name Yog Dhyan.

      Bhavishya Badri

      The temple of Bhavishya Badri is located at Subain near Tapovan, about 17 km east of Joshimath. Pilgrims have to trek beyond Tapovan, up the Dhauli Ganga river to reach here. Bhavishya Badri means Future Badrinath.

      Adi Badri

      The temple can be found in Karnaparyag towards Ranikhet, They are a set of 16 small temples. The main temple of Badrinath has a idol cut out of black stone, and is a metre high approx.

      Vriddha Badri

      The Vriddha Badri is located 7 km from Joshimath. The idol is known as Vriddha (old) and is the first Badrinath the temple remains open throughout the year.

      DAY 01: Haridwar - Joshimath - Badrinath ( Badri - Vishal )

      320 kms drive - reach Badrinath.

      DAY 02: Badrinath - Yogdhayan Badri - Joshimath

      Take Badri vishal darshan and then drive for about 2 hours to reach Yogdhayan Badri (23 km). Visit Yogdhayan Badri Temple and travel for Joshimath. 17 kms.

      DAY 03: Joshimath - Syaldhar - Bhavishya Badri - Joshimath

      It takes about 40 kms by road and 12 kms by trek to reach Bhavishya Badri and back to Joshimath.

      DAY 04: Joshimath - Bridha Badri - Karnaparyag

      Drive to Bridha Badri and reach Karnaparyag ( 92 kms ).

      DAY 05: Karnaparyag - Adi Badri - Haridwar

      Drive to Adi Badri which is situated 20kms of Gairsain road from Karnaparyag. After Darshan and Pooja travel to Haridwar ( 280 Kms ) ..
