    Pipalkoti is a small town in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand India. It lies in the Garhwal Himalayas, 78 kms on the way to Badrinath.

    Pipalkoti is surrounded by coniferous and oak forests, and also offers a fantastic view of mountain peaks of Nanda Devi, Mana Parbat Dunagiri, Beethartoli, Neelkanth, Hathi Parbat and Komet.

    Pipalkoti located 17kms after Chamoli on NH58 is a relaxation point for people travelling to Badrinath, Auli, Hemkund Sahib and Valley of Flowers. It provides good restaurants and budget accommodation for the vary pilgrims of Chardham.

    It is a popular vacation spot well know for its natural beauty, trekking opportunities. The Tungnath is the highest temple of Lord Shiva situated only 3.5kms away from Chopta is a well known trek. Chopta is situated 69kms from Pipalkoti.

    Auli is situated 48kms from Pipalkoti is a popular skiing and paragliding destination of Uttarakhand. It offers a panoramic and celestial views of the enchanting snow laden Himalayan range.

    Valley of flowers is a world heritage site and one of the most beautiful mystical place in the world. It is a must visit place when on a visit to Pipalkoti.
