Kashipur is one of the four tehsils in Uddham Singh Nagar, Uttarakhand India. It is a part of the Kumoun region. The city was founded by Kashinath Adhikari an officer of the Chand dynasty and hence got its name as Kashipur.

Bheem Shankar (Moteshwar) Mahadev Mandir Shree Moteshwar Mahadev also known as Bheem Shankar Mahadev is dedicated to Lord Shiva, The temple is also considered as one of the 12 Jyotirlinga of Lord Shiva.
Chitai Devi Temple ( 2.5 kms ) It is also known as Bal Sundari Templs and is dedicated to Goddess Chitai Devi. The temple is famous for the fair held during the Navratra festival. The temple is visited by thousand of devotees from all around the country.
Giri Sarovar ( 2 kms ) It is a beautiful picnic spot. The snow capped peaks of the trishul himalayas are visible from here during the autumn season
Drona Sagar It is a beautiful lake. It is also being developed as a tourist spot.
Kashipur in Uttarakhand is a part of Kumaon tourism, and the local languages spoken are Kumaoni, Gadhwali and Hindi. The best time to visit Kashipur would be from February - April and September - October.
