Lohaghat is a beautiful hill town in the Champawat district of Uttarakhand India. It lies on the banks of the Lohawati "river of blood" at an altitude of 1750 mts above sea level in the Kumaon mountains.

Mount Abbot ( 8 kms ) Mount Abbot is situated at an elevation of 2018 ft. The beautiful site offers a quite and peaceful holiday. It also offers breathtaking view of the Himalalyas snow covered peaks.
Pancheshwar is ( 40 kms ) from Lohaghat located near the Nepal border on the confluence of river Kali and river Saryu. It has a famous temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. It also offers a with beautiful view of the himalayas peaks and is also a trekking paradise.
Lohaghat Uttarakhand is a part of Kumaon tourism, and the local languages spoken are Kumaoni, Gadhwali and Hindi. The best time to visit Lohaghat would be from October - June.
