Chardham Winter Tour - Haridwar
Chardham Winter Tour is a religious tour. It can be a family tours as well as group tour.
The Chardham tour closes for the winters and the temple gods are shifted to their winter homes Ukhimath, Joshimath, Mukhba and Kharsali. Lord Kedarnath is shifted to Ukhimath. Lord Badrinath is moved to Joshimath. The idol of Goddess Ganga is brought down to Mukhba and the idol of Goddess Yamuna is kept at the Shani Dev Temple in Kharsali during the winters.

Chardham Winter Tour - Haridwar - 08 Nights - 09 Days
Day 01: Haridwar - Barkot via Mussoorie ( 215 kms / 7 - 8 hrs )
Pick up from Haridwar - Rishikesh - Dehradun. Travel to Barkot via Mussoorie. Reach Lakhmandal related to Lakshagrihya in Mahabharata. Visit the temple of Lord Shiva. The temple is surrounded by magnificent Garhwal Himalayan peaks.
After Darshan reach Barkot for an overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02: Barkot - Kharsali - Uttarkashi via Jankichatti ( 184 kms Drive / 2 kms trek )
Drive to Khushimath via Jankichatti. Take a 1km trek to reach the winter temple of Goddess Yamuna and also visit one of the oldest shani temples.
After Darshan reach Uttarkashi. Enjoy the panoramic views of the Garhwal Himalayas. for an overnight stay at hotel.
- Uttarkashi: is also known as the kashi of North. It is situated at the bank of river Bhagirathi. The temple of Lord Vishwanath is located here where a massive iron trident is erected.
Day 03: Uttarkashi - Gangnani - Harsil - Uttarkashi ( 80 km one side / 3 hrs )
Drive to Harsil. En-route stop at Gangnani for a hot sulphur water spring dip. Reach Harsil. Reach Mukbhwa village temple the winter seat of goddess Ganga.
Enjoy the beautiful view of Garhwal from Harsil.
Return back to Uttarkashi. Overnight stay in the hotel.
- Gangotri: It is the spiritual source of the Ganga river. People pray here to goddess ganga to clean away their sins.
Day 04: Uttarkashi - Rudraprayag via Srinagar ( 240 kms Drive 6 - 7 hrs )
Drive to Srinagar. Visit Kamleshwar Temple. After darshan drive towards Rudraprayag. RudraPrayag is the confluence of river Mandakini and Alaknanda River.
Overnight stay in Rudraprayag.
- The Omkareshwara Temple is the winter seat of Lord Kedarnath and Kedarnath is worshipped here for 6 months in the winter. The temple is surrounded by magnificent mountain peaks of Kedarnath and Chaukhamba.
- Chopta is one of the most beautiful hill stations in Uttarakhand.
- Auli is a beautiful hill station which offers a magnificent view of the snow covered peaks of Garhwal Himalayas.
- Devprayag( confluence of river Bhagirathi and Alaknanda River).
- RudraPrayag ( confluence of river Mandakini and Alaknanda River)
- KarnaPrayag ( confluence of river Pindari and river Alaknanda).
- NandaPrayag ( confluence of river Nandakini and Alaknanda River).

Day 05: Rudraprayag to Rampur via Guptkashi , Ukhimath ( 140 kms Drive 5 - 6 hrs )
Drive to Ukhimath. Visit the Omkareshwar Temple the winter seat of Lord Kedarnath. After darshan drive towards Guptkashi. Visit the Vishwanath Temple. Drive towards Rampur and visit the Triyuginarayan Temple.
Overnight stay in Rampur.
Day 06: Rampur - Gopeshwar via Chopta ( 100 kms Drive - 6kms trek )
Drive towards Chopta. Take a 3km trek to Deorital. Is is a small beautiful forest lake and offers a magnificent view of the mighty Chaukhamba peaks.
Trek back and then drive towards Gopeshwar. Visit Gopinath Temple for Pooja and Darshan.
Overnight stay in the hotel at Gopeshwar.
Day 07: Gopeshwar - Joshimath via Auli - ( 102 kms Drive )
Drive towards Joshimath. On reaching Joshimath visit Virdha Badri. ( One of the Panch Badri Temples ).
Visit Narsingh Temple the winter seat of Lord Badrinath and Garuda Temple and also visit Amar Kalp Tree ( Oldest tree in India and is said to be almost 2500 yrs old and one of the oldest tree in India.
Drive towards Auli. Travel in Cable Car ( own expense) to Auli. Later drive back to Joshimath for evening pooja at the Narsingh Temple.
Day 08: Joshimath - Pipalkoti ( 120 km / 6 hrs - 10km trek )
Drive to Pandukeshwar for and visit the Yog Dhyan Badri Temple. Drive towards Tapovan and visit the holy Bhavishya Badri Vishal Temple. Trek starts from Saldhar village and view of the Nandadevi Temple in Lata village.
Later drive back to Pipalkoti for overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 09: Pipalkoti - Rishikesh Sightseeing - Haridwar ( 140 kms 7 hrs )
Drive to Rishikesh via Srinagar and Devprayag.
Rishikesh Local Sight Seeing (Ram Jhulla, Laxman Jhulla, Triveni Ghat, Parmarth Niketan, Shivananda and Gita Kutir).
Drive to Haridwar. Visit Mansa Devi and Chandi Devi Temple. Haridwar local Sightseeing ( Bharat Mata Temple, Shanti Kunj, Maya Devi Mandir, Parad Shivling ). Visit Ganga Aarti at Har ki Pauri.
